The Sound Frequency Analyzer is a free Android app, which was created for the purpose of analyzing and measuring the frequency spectrum of a given audio signal. This is possible through recording the sound with your phone's microphone, and then doing a frequency analysis on it.
It is not only a frequency analyzer, but also a decibel (dB) meter, which allows you to measure the noise level of the audio signal, and determine whether the sound is in the range of normal hearing. The results are displayed in real-time, and you can also get a graph of the sound spectrum.
You can use the app to find out what is the current average frequency in Hertz (Hz). It is a completely free app, and it only displays the commercial banner at the bottom of the screen to support the development. You can also opt out from the display of the banner.
The app can analyze and measure the frequency spectrum of any audio signal, regardless of its source. It does not matter whether it is a music signal, a speech signal, or any other kind of audio signal. It also does not matter whether the signal is recorded in the form of a music file, a speech file, or any other format.
